2 Awesome Catch and Throw Drills!
Are you looking for some fun and easy catch and throw drills for you rnext practice? These drills focus on turning quickly to face the target after the ball is caught, while paying close attention to proper body mechanics. The more you work on these catch and throw drills, the more speed you will gain!
Specifically, these catch and throw drills are useful for learning to rotate the lower body quickly to face the target. You want to work on these drills for 3 minutes, trying to get as many repetitions as you can within that time.
For a high catch, keep the thumbs together and your palms facing the player who is throwing the ball.
For a low catch, keep the pinkys together and catch with both hands, followed by an accurate return throw.
