During the above video, you’ll learn about a great baseball throwing drill called the One Knee Drill.

This baseball throwing drill helps develop correct follow-through and improves accuracy.

Each player should be in a one-knee, ready position. On a verbal command, the player will become set in their throwing position.

Each coach can walk behind and ensure that the position is correct””that the knuckles are facing the sky, that the shoulder isn’t opened, etc. If any of the fundamentals are incorrect, the coach should make corrections as necessary.

Players can also check themselves to ensure their position is correct.

Upon follow-through, the throw should come directly over the player’s head.

This baseball throwing drill isolates the top half of the body to make sure release and follow-through are correct.
