In today’s video blog post, we are demonstrating an excellent hitting drill called the “Flat Bat” drill.
The “Flat Bat” Hitting Drill
The Flat Bat is a regular wooden bat that has been shaven down on both sides. The idea behind this hitting drill is to think about hitting THROUGH the baseball. Hitters will be able to feel if they are rolling the bat over or hitting under the ball, receiving instant feedback based on their action so they can adjust accordingly.
