Drill Setup

  • Player can stand anywhere on the field with a weighted bat.

How it Works

1. Player holds the bat straight out in front of body.

Start with bat straight out front

 

2. He brings the bat barrel back to the top of his head by bending his wrists, then he snaps the bat back to the starting position.

Bring bat to head, then snap down

 

3. Do 10 repetitions.

Coaching Tips

  • Look for sharp, crisp movements. Players should be stopping the bat out in front of them at nose level
