During this video, you’ll learn about a little league baseball drill that will help your team work on agility and improved skill in the outfield.
This little league baseball drill is great for improving your players’ agility. The behind the back catch drill is incredibly simple—and how it works is pretty evident from what it’s called.
The players will partner up—one player will be the thrower, and the other will be the catcher. The goal is for one player to throw a fairly high toss, and then his partner will do his best to catch that baseball behind his back.
With this little league baseball drill, you can help your outfielders become much more skilled and confident.
You may notice with this drill that your players goof off with this drill—while this is okay, be sure that they’re also still focusing on the drill and trying to work on their own agility.
