PIGMY 6 – Foul Fly Ball Down RF Line, Runners On First And Third

Purpose:

Full team practices relays, cutoffs and backups on a foul ball hit towards right field with runners on base

Setup:

• Full infield and outfield in regular positions
• Coach with fungo bat at home plate
• Baserunners on first and third

Execution:

1. Fungo 1 hits a foul fly ball down the right field line
2. RF, 2B, 1B converge, communicate and make the play
3. 3B has the cutoff for the throw home
4. Pitcher covers first
5. LF covers third
6. SS covers second
7. Return ball to Fungo 1. Reset and repeat.
