Take a look at these submissions from Cindy and Bill. Two great examples of [tag]drills[/tag] for [tag]baseball coaching free[/tag] that can work with your youth teams.

I like doing a throwing relay that focuses on a drop step methodology. This [tag]baseball[/tag] [tag]drill[/tag] works great in a gym.
Divide the players into even groups and then spread them across the gym. The first player, on the word go, bounces the ball off the wall to give himself a grounder, he then [tag]fields[/tag] it, and drop steps his [tag]throw[/tag] to the glove side of the next player and so on to the last one in line and then they bring it back to the first.
We then rotate the players and repeat the drill so each player gets the chance to be the [tag]defender[/tag] off the wall. The keys here are the quick, drop step pivot, throwing to the glove side, and receiving the ball in a throw ready position.

One of my favorite drills is the 3-player [tag]bunt drill[/tag]. 2 throwers,each with a ball,1 [tag]batter[/tag].
Rotate who pitches and the [tag]bunter[/tag] must bunt the ball back to the one who pitched it.
