Try these [tag]baseball drills to improve throwing motion[/tag] (these were used by a local youth travel team). This [tag]baseball drill[/tag] became one of their favorites.
The Star Drill
Put 5 players in a star shape in the outfield, about a 30 foot radius. Start with one [tag]baseball[/tag] and each player would throw across to the player one over from the player next to them. As they perfect this drill, add a second baseball increasing the speed of the drill. After a few minutes of this you can add a third baseball to the drill.
This really challenges the boys with throwing 3 baseballs in a star shaped circle. The players’ accuracy as well as receiving and setting up for the next throw really developed the more we worked this [tag]baseball throwing drill[/tag].
