The problem most coaches have at the T-Ball level is keeping the boys interested for more than 5 minutes. Here’s a fun t-ball practice drills that one of our members sent in. It’s an idea called “baseball madness”.

Baseball Madness

There is no rhyme or reason to the name just something the boys could remember. Basically we have 3-4 stations and they rotate every 3-5 minutes. The entire baseball drill is about 12-15 minutes. The challenge is to have enough [tag]baseball coach[/tag]es and/or parents to staff the stations.

Split the players into pairs and it works as follows:
Station 1: Play catch

Station 2: Field grounders

Station 3: Batting stance and practice swings

Station 4: Running bases

They boys LOVE it and often request “baseball madness” when we have baseball practice!
