I have used these for [tag]tee-ball drills[/tag] for years. They are simple, fun and the kids have fun doing them. Always a good way to keep their attention!
Kiss the Ground – (teaches the kids to get into ready position to field the ball and to block the ball with the glove touching the ground) – I line the kids up side by side and have them follow my lead. I have them step forward with their left leg, then right leg, and last have them put touch their glove on the ground.
I also go different directions to teach them to get in front of the [tag]baseball[/tag].
Learn the bases – (teaches the kids the bases) – I have the kids run the bases yelling out the base that they touch. I also put a cone about 3 yards past first base to teach running through the base.
