Looking for [tag]youth baseball situation drills[/tag]? You’ve come to the right place! Try out this [tag]baseball drill[/tag] below and let me know how it goes for you.
From Sonny”¦
Every [tag]baseball[/tag] team has a few ‘class clowns’. During our pitch and catch warm up drill, we have one that will purposefully throw a wild pitch one that could not possibly be caught.
This happens repeatedly, so now each [tag]baseball pitch[/tag] that he throws errantly he has to run and chase. We even went one better in that each errant pitch anyone throws he has to chase.
However, there is a catch; to keep everyone else from purposefully throwing errant pitches, if anyone throws 2 errant pitches they basically become ‘it’. Then they have to chase balls for a while.
This helps them concentrate on making good throws and not just randomly playing ‘pitch and catch’.
